Privacy Policy

We keep only what the app needs to work, we do not sell it, and you can erase all of it from inside the app.
What we store
Your account holds five things:
- Who you are. The name you enter and the email address you sign up with. You sign in with email and password, or with Sign in with Apple, in which case Apple may share a private relay address instead of your real one.
- What you told us during onboarding. Your intentions, the times of day you prefer to listen, and the content styles you chose. These decide which gardens the app puts in front of you.
- What you saved. Your favourite gardens and tracks.
- How much you have listened. The dates you listened, your number of sessions, and your total listening time. These produce your streak and your progress.
- Your subscription status. Which plan you are on, whether you are in a free trial, and when it renews or ends. We never see your card or payment details.
That is the whole list. We do not collect your location, contacts, photos, microphone, or any advertising identifier. The app has no advertising and no third party analytics or tracking libraries in it.
What stays on your device
Your reminders are scheduled by your phone, not by us. The times you set are stored on the device and never sent to our servers. Your dark mode choice stays on the device too.
Notifications
Announcements are sent through Firebase Cloud Messaging to everyone who has the app, using a broadcast channel. To deliver them, Firebase holds a push token for your device; we do not link it to your account, and we cannot tell who opened a message. Turn notifications off in your device settings and they stop.
Subscriptions
Listening to the gardens requires Sukun Garden Premium, an auto-renewing subscription that unlocks every garden, every affirmation, and each new release.
- Premium Monthly: US$9.99 a month.
- Premium Yearly: US$39.99 a year.
Prices are shown in US dollars. The App Store shows the price in your local currency before you confirm.
New subscribers get a 7-day free trial, one per Apple ID. Payment is charged to your Apple ID when the trial ends, or when you confirm the purchase if no trial applies. The subscription renews automatically at the same price for the same length unless you cancel at least 24 hours before the end of the current period, and your account is charged for the renewal within the 24 hours before that period ends. Any unused part of a free trial ends when you buy a subscription.
You can manage or cancel your subscription in the app under Settings, then Manage subscription, or on your iPhone under Settings, then your name, then Subscriptions. Deleting your account does not cancel the subscription, so cancel it first. Refunds are handled by Apple at reportaproblem.apple.com.
Your use of the app is governed by our Terms of Use.
Where it is kept
On Google Firebase, using Firebase Authentication for sign in and Cloud Firestore for the account data above. Google processes it as our service provider. It travels over encrypted connections and is encrypted at rest.
Purchases are made through Apple. We use RevenueCat as our service provider to confirm your subscription with Apple. RevenueCat receives your account identifier and your purchase records from Apple, but not your name, email address, or payment details.
Who we share it with
Nobody. We do not sell, rent, or trade your data, and we do not share it for advertising. Beyond the service providers above, Google Firebase and RevenueCat, we disclose data only where the law requires it.
How long we keep it
For as long as your account exists, and no longer.
Erasing it
In the app, go to Settings, then My account, then Delete account. The app shows you exactly what will be removed before you confirm. Your account is then scheduled for deletion and removed after 7 days, together with everything listed above. You can withdraw the request from Settings at any time during those 7 days. After that it cannot be undone. You can also email us from the address on your account and we will complete the deletion within 30 days.
Your rights
You may ask for a copy of your data, ask us to correct it, or ask us to erase it. Email us and we will respond within 30 days. If you are in the UK, the EU, or a similar jurisdiction: we handle your account data to provide the service you signed up for, and we send notifications on the basis of the permission you granted, which you can withdraw at any time in your device settings.
Children
Sukun Garden is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect their data. If you believe a child has given us data, write to us and we will remove it.
Changes
If this policy changes, the date at the top of this page changes with it.
